Green Jobs Green New York Southern Tier is a community-based energy efficiency program funded through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and by a Department of Energy (DOE) grant obtained by the City of Binghamton.

We help New York homeowners at every stage of the energy efficiency upgrade process. Our effort is part of a statewide effort to make your home more comfortable, reduce your energy usage and your bills, and create local jobs. We provide southern tier residents access to free or reduced-cost energy assessments, installation services, low-cost financing and, workforce opportunities.
